
Trampoline Creative Inc. is pleased to announce that Larry Bootland has joined the team as the newly created Director of Operations.
Larry, a native Calgarian, came to Halifax for the first time last summer to visits friends and family. Two weeks later he and his partner quit their jobs in Calgary, sold their house and bought a new one in Halifax. You know… that old story!
“Having lived in Calgary for all my life I feel I know Maritimers so well”, jokes Larry, “But seriously, I can’t believe that anybody would choose to leave this place, and I don’t even like seafood”.
An accomplished designer and project manager, Larry brings to Trampoline 12 years of agency experience in everything from building consumer focused websites for retail and property development sectors, to online contest development, to B2B web application tools.
We predict that Larry is a pioneer in a new trend. We’re calling them “Landlocked Maritimers”. They’re mid career professionals who share many of the maritime values but are just know waking up to the quality of life this end of the country can offer.
As our Director of Operations, Larry ensures our web division and design studio runs smoothly and effectively. As leader of the web division, he works with clients to develop effective online strategies and bring their online vision to life. His strong management skills ensure online projects are properly scoped and always meet client needs and expectations.
Over his past 20 years Larry has held a number of design, print and web production positions in Calgary advertising and design community. Most recently, Larry spent 6 years at LPi Calgary helping many of the regions brands with their traditional and on-line communications. Some of the clients included Marlborough Mall, Three Buoys Resort & Marina, Levi Strauss & Co, Coca-Cola and Old Dutch Foods Ltd.
